Peter BernardWARDOf Somerton passed away peacefully at Yeovil District Hospital on the 3rd February 2025 aged 87 years.

Jazz musician of sixty years, beloved husband of the late Avril Rosalie Ward, much-loved father to Kate, Suzie, Caroline, and Elizabeth, fond brother of Anne, loving grandpa to James, Tom, Sam, Holly, Jack, Phoebe, and Max, and loyal friend to many. Peter will be deeply missed.

A New Orleans style funeral service to be held on Friday 21st February at 12.30pm at St Michael and All Angels Church, Somerton.

Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired are invited for the British Heart Foundation and can be made online at funeral-notices.co.uk or cheques made payable to the charity can be forwarded to Forsey and Son, Willowfields, Lowerside Lane, Glastonbury, BA6 9GY.
